As a service to its members and to the general public, each year ADS Region 15 conducts a Popularity Poll among its member to determine the favorite daylilies grown in the Carolina's. It is the hope that this Popularity Poll presents a true picture of which daylilies perform well in a given area and which are best liked by the membership. Popularity polls are important to daylily growers, both ADS members and nonmembers, who make daylily selections for purchases.
The Popularity Poll has been conducted in Region 15 since the inception of the Region in 1960. But the Pop Poll is actually quite a bit older, dating back to 1949 at least and variations of it existed since 1937 when daylilies were under the American Amaryllis Society. The 2022 winners and their rankings are shown below. |
