North Carolina’s most populous city is home to UNC, the NASCAR HALL of FAME, the Panthers and Hornets, and for over half a century, the PIEDMONT DAYLILY CLUB.
Our 50 plus members meet on the SECOND Saturday of the month, (except for JUN, JUL, AUG and DEC) at Carmel Road Presbyterian Church, 2048 Carmel Road, Charlotte, at 9:00A. These meetings are FREE and open to the public, so make plans to join us. Our club also hosts an annual accredited Daylily Flower Show, which includes a photography contest, silent auction and much more. Each spring we meet in a member’s garden for breakfast and daylily auction. Plus, we plan for a road trip each year to a garden in our Region. We hope our offerings spark a desire to learn more about the species Hemerocallis. At heart, all of our members are gardeners and, if you didn’t already know it, gardeners live longer!
